Sahin Awarded Gold Stevie in Woman of the Year Category

BOSTON – August 11, 2017Globalization Partners, a global PEO and employer of record firm that helps companies expand internationally, today announced its founder and CEO Nicole Sahin has been named the winner of a gold level Stevie Award in the Woman of the Year category in the 14th annual International Business Awards (IBAs). The news, which highlights the continued success of Globalization Partners as part of Sahin’s individual accomplishments, comes on the heels of her recent honor as one of EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award recipients.

The IBAs represent a particularly notable win for Sahin, who has leveraged her expertise in international business to found and grow Globalization Partners with a mission to eliminate the barriers to global business. With PEO services in more than 170 countries, Globalization Partners empowers companies to quickly and easily expand globally without needing to incorporate in a given country. Using a mix of high-touch services and proprietary technology, Globalization Partners streamlines administrative tasks across borders and time zones, manages the legalities and compliance issues and takes on all of the associated risk.

At the forefront of one of Boston’s fastest-growing organizations, Sahin is gaining widespread recognition for her unmatched leadership and entrepreneurial skills. In addition to the company’s remarkable growth rate—it doubled its revenue from 2015 to 2016, is on track to more than double its revenue again, and has a month-to-month revenue growth rate of 150 percent in the first two quarters of 2017—Sahin has led her company to gain local and international recognition, including being named Global PEO of the Year in the 2017 Global Payroll Awards; being named a Best Places to Work 2017 and one of the fastest-growing private companies in 2016 by Inc.; and being ranked number one on the Boston Business Journal’s 2017 Fast 50 List of the fastest growing private companies.

As the world’s leading business awards program, the 2017 IBA awards attracted more than 3,800 nominations from more than 60 nations. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners on October 21 during a dinner event at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. More than 1,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Innovator of the Year, Startup of the Year and Management Team of the Year, among others. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.

“As we continue to eliminate barriers to global business and grow Globalization Partners on an international scale, being honored within the IBAs is certainly a recognition I am extremely proud of,” said Sahin. “It highlights not only the work I—and the entire team—am so passionate about but also our continued achievements helping American companies do business across borders.”
