Debbie Millin, COOGlobal PEO and Employer of Record firm promotes key player to C-level suite

Boston —December 15, 2016Globalization Partners, a global PEO and employer of record firm that helps companies expand internationally without setting up foreign branch offices, today announced that Debbie Millin will serve as the organization’s chief operating officer, effective immediately. Millin joined Globalization Partners in June as senior director of systems and scalability. Thanks to her expertise and proven results driving executive-level expansion strategies, she has been instrumental in the company’s rapid growth in the second half of 2016. Millin will continue to report directly to CEO Nicole Sahin.

Millin brings more than 20 years of global experience to Globalization Partners. Prior to joining the company in June, she ran UpperLevel Solutions, a consulting firm she founded with the mission of helping startups manage the challenges that come with high growth and success. Previously, she was vice president of operations at High Street Partners (now Radius) where she played a key role in driving business operations.

“Debbie is an incredible day-to-day resource for our entire team and has quickly become a central and exemplary addition to the health and growth of our organization,” said Sahin. “I am confident that she will continue to thrive in the role of chief operating officer, pulling from her years of global and client relations experience to help us nimbly and efficiently run one of the fastest growing businesses in Boston.”

Globalization Partners addresses a major pain point for U.S. organizations looking to expand overseas by putting employees on its own payroll and therefore taking on all associated risk as it relates to human resources, payroll and compliance regulations. With a presence in more than 170 countries, Globalization Partners cuts the cost of international expansion by as much as 94 percent, reducing time to onboard a new employee from months to days and turning international payroll and HR management into a fast and easy process.

“Even before joining Globalization Partners, I was incredibly impressed with the organization’s work and the team’s amazing and unique ability to help clients grow globally,” said Millin. “I am more energized today than ever, and look forward to diving into my new role head first as we continue to grow and expand our business operations.”

Millin’s appointment to chief operating officer comes on the heels of a tremendous growth year for Globalization Partners. In August, the company was ranked number six on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies in the U.S., reporting $17.7 million in 2015 revenue, an increase of 16,196 percent since its first year of business in 2012. It has also made several key hires in 2016, including the appointment of Dave Hughson as national director of business development in September, and the addition of several senior sales and business development representatives across the country.
